Jacob Glenister is a PhD Student in the Department of Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures with a focus on Egyptology. His interests within Egyptology are broad, but include the history of the Old and Middle Kingdom, the development of the Egyptian language, and Egypt's contacts with the wider Mediterranean world. In a more modern context, he is also very interested in outreach and public education programs, and would be happy to be a resource to any prospective students for the program.
