The Executive Committee of the American Comparative Literature Association has elected Huda Fakhreddine to serve as Second Vice President on the Board of Directors. The ACLA supports the study of literature as a form of artistic, historical, and cultural expression beyond national and linguistic boundaries.
Dr. Fakhreddine's primary field is Arabic literature and, in particular, Arabic poetry.
